Jonathan and the MMS team are gearing up for one of the most anticipated new events of the fall — the inaugural Duel at Mohave at Mohave Valley Raceway in Bullhead City, Arizona. Running November 13–15, this first-ever three-day show is already shaping up to be a major spotlight weekend for IMCA racing across the Southwest.

With IMCA Modifieds anchoring the program — and a massive $7,777.77 to win on championship night, the 12LF team is ready to unload, compete, and chase big money in the desert.
Three Nights of Racing — One Big Opportunity
The week kicks off Wednesday, Nov. 12, with an open practice session from 6–10 p.m. This will give Jonathan and Mawhinney Motorsports time to dial in the car, feel out the surface, and prep for three straight nights of racing.
Here’s what the Modified schedule looks like:
Thursday, Nov. 13 — $500 to win
Friday, Nov. 14 — $500 to win
Saturday, Nov. 15 — Main Event: $7,777.77 to win
$2,750 for 2nd
$2,000 for 3rd
$1,500 for 4th
$1,250 for 5th
Saturday’s main event is also a 2026 Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s qualifying race for the Fast Shafts All-Star Modified Invitational — raising the stakes even higher.
“This event has all the ingredients — big money, a big stage, and a chance to go race head-to-head with some of the best in the Southwest,” Jonathan said. “We’re excited to represent Mawhinney Motorsports at the first Duel at Mohave.”
Full Weekend of IMCA Racing
While Mawhinney Motorsports will be focused on the Modified division, IMCA Stock Cars and Northern SportMods will also be in action with strong payouts, making this a full-blown racing festival for fans.
